Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother received excellent care at Barton Hospital D/P SNF. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and she was always well-cared for. The facility itself was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

While the staff at Barton Hospital D/P SNF was generally helpful and friendly, I did find that the communication between them and my father's doctor could have been better. There were a few instances where we weren't fully informed about changes in his care plan. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I wish the communication had been more consistent.
