Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Vista Grande for a few months now, and we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I was impressed with Vista Grande from the moment I walked in. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the facility was bright and cheerful. The rehabilitation services were excellent, and my father made great progress during his stay. I would highly recommend Vista Grande to anyone looking for a quality rehabilitation center.

The care at Vista Grande was good, but I felt that there could have been more communication between the staff and family members. I also found that the food was not as good as I had hoped.
