Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Trinidad Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for a few months now, and we're so happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is always kind and attentive, and they really go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. We highly recommend this center to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.

I was initially nervous about placing my father in a care facility, but I'm so glad I chose Trinidad. The staff is incredibly compassionate and responsive to his needs. They've helped him regain his strength and mobility after his surgery, and they've made sure he feels comfortable and supported throughout his recovery. I couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving.

The care at Trinidad is okay, but I've noticed some inconsistency with the staff. Some nurses are wonderful, but others seem less attentive. The food could be better, and the facility feels a bit dated. Overall, it's a decent facility, but it's not perfect.
