Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Connecticut Baptist Homes for a few months now, and we are so happy with her care. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. My grandmother enjoys the activities and the meals, and she has made some new friends. We highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for assisted living for their loved ones.

I was so impressed with Connecticut Baptist Homes during my tour. The staff was so welcoming and informative, and the facility was beautiful and well-kept. I feel confident that my mother would be well-cared for at this facility. I was particularly impressed with the memory care unit, which seemed very comfortable and safe.

Connecticut Baptist Homes is a decent facility, but I have had some concerns about the level of care. My father has had a few falls, and I haven't always been notified right away. However, the staff is generally friendly and helpful, and my father seems to enjoy the activities. I think they could use some improvement in communication, but overall, it's a decent option.
