Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Stoddard Baptist for a couple of years now, and we couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the facility itself is clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this nursing home for anyone looking for a loving and supportive environment for their loved ones.

The care at Stoddard Baptist is good, but I've noticed some inconsistency in the quality of care over time. There are some really great nurses and caregivers who are excellent, but there have been a few instances where I've felt like the care wasn't quite as attentive as I would have liked. Overall, it's a good place, but there is room for improvement.
