Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My parents have been living at Emerald Coast Center for a year, and they absolutely love it! The facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and well-cared for. The activities are varied and engaging, and they always have something new to try. We're so grateful for the wonderful care they receive at Emerald Coast Center.

Overall, I think Emerald Coast Center is a good place to live. It's clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The food is pretty good, but sometimes I wish there were more options. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the lack of transportation options. It would be great if they had more transportation services to get residents out and about.
