Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Scott Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and I'm very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I can't recommend Scott Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center enough! My dad was there for a couple of weeks after his hip surgery, and they helped him regain his mobility and strength. The therapists were amazing, and they really took the time to understand his needs and goals. The food was also surprisingly good!
