Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was impressed with the care my grandmother received at Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff was always kind and attentive, and they worked hard to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, and I felt confident that she was in good hands.

The care at Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was decent, but I did have some concerns about the communication between the staff and family members. It would have been helpful to receive more regular updates on my father's progress. Otherwise, the facility was fine.

I am so grateful for the care my mother received at Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff was incredibly patient and compassionate, and they made a difficult time easier for both my mother and our family. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.
