Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Bedrock for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I was worried about putting my dad in a nursing home, but Bedrock has been a godsend. They've helped him regain his strength after his surgery, and he's really enjoying the social events and activities they have. The staff is always friendly and professional, and I feel confident that he's in good hands.

While the care at Bedrock is generally good, I've found the communication from staff to family can be a bit inconsistent. It's been a bit challenging to get updates on my mother's progress at times. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I think there's room for improvement in communication.
