Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother stayed at the Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Melbourne for a few weeks after her hip surgery. The staff was incredibly kind and patient, and they really helped her get back on her feet. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, and the food was surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for rehabilitation care.

This center is a true gem! My grandfather received excellent care here after his stroke. The therapists were exceptional, and he made great progress in his recovery. The staff treated him with so much respect and compassion. I couldn't have asked for a better place for him to heal and regain his independence.
