Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Miami Springs for a few months now and we are very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually quite good.

The staff at Miami Springs is friendly, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care. Sometimes my grandmother gets the attention she needs, but other times she seems to be overlooked. I wish they were more proactive with communication, but overall it's a decent facility.

I was very impressed with Miami Springs from the moment I walked in. The facility is bright and cheerful, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. My aunt has been there for a few weeks now, and she's doing much better than she was before. They really know their stuff.
