Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Hialeah Shores for a few months now and we are very happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is kind and attentive and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the food is a bit bland, but overall we are very satisfied.

Hialeah Shores is okay. The staff is generally helpful but sometimes they are overwhelmed and don't respond as quickly as I would like. The activities are a bit limited, but I appreciate that they make an effort to engage the residents.

I was so impressed with Hialeah Shores. My grandmother was there for rehab after a hip fracture and she made great progress. The therapists were excellent and the nursing staff was so compassionate and caring. I highly recommend this facility.
