Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Pensacola Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and we are very happy with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she feels comfortable and well taken care of. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their loved one.

Pensacola Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a decent facility, but it could be better. The nursing staff is okay, but some of the aides seem to be overworked and stressed. The food is not very good, and there are limited options for residents with dietary restrictions. Overall, it's a good place to stay, but it's not outstanding.
