Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been a resident at Sarasota Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation for several months now, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they've done a great job of helping her regain her strength and mobility. The facility is clean and comfortable, and the food is surprisingly good! I would definitely recommend this center to others.

The staff at Sarasota Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation are kind and caring, but I've found communication to be a bit lacking at times. It can be difficult to get in touch with someone about specific concerns. However, the activities and programs offered to the residents are great, and they seem to be engaging and enjoyable.
