Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Peninsula Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for several months now, and we are so happy with the care she receives. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.

The staff at Peninsula is generally friendly and helpful, but there have been some instances where communication could be better. I've had to follow up a few times about my dad's care plan, and sometimes I feel like I'm not always fully informed about his progress. Overall, it's a decent facility, but it could be more transparent.

I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail at Peninsula Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The therapists were incredibly skilled and dedicated, and they really helped my mother regain her mobility after her surgery. The activities offered were engaging and enjoyable, and my mother has made some new friends. We are grateful for the care and support they have provided.
