Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My father has been living at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home for a few years now, and we are very happy with the care he receives. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I can't recommend the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home enough. It's truly a blessing for our veterans. The staff is so compassionate and dedicated, and the facilities are top-notch. My grandfather has been living there for a while, and he is thriving. He's made new friends, enjoys the activities, and is receiving the best possible care.

The Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home is a decent facility, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care provided. Some staff members are excellent, while others seem less engaged. The food could be better, and there's not a lot of variety. However, the overall environment is pleasant, and my uncle seems comfortable there.
