Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Hale Nani for a few months now, and we've been very impressed with the care she has received. The staff is always kind and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I can't say enough good things about Hale Nani. They truly treat their residents like family. My mother was struggling with dementia and needed a safe and supportive environment. Hale Nani provided her with the specialized care she needed, and they were always so understanding and compassionate. I highly recommend this facility.

The staff at Hale Nani is friendly, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of care. Some nurses are excellent, but others seem less attentive. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I think there's room for improvement.
