Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Cherokee Specialty Care for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

The staff at Cherokee Specialty Care are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure my father is comfortable and well cared for. The facility itself is beautiful and inviting, and my father enjoys participating in the various activities they offer.

The care at Cherokee Specialty Care is decent, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention my mother receives. Sometimes she's well-attended to, while other times she seems neglected. Overall, it's an okay facility, but I wish there was more consistency in the care.
