Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My parents have been living at Lutheran Retirement Home for a couple of years now, and we couldn't be happier with the care they receive. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the activities keep them engaged and happy. The home itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is delicious. We highly recommend Lutheran Retirement Home to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place for their loved ones.

I was hesitant to move into a retirement home, but Lutheran Retirement Home has exceeded all my expectations. The community is warm and welcoming, and I've made several new friends. The activities are fun and engaging, and the staff is always there to help if I need anything. I feel safe and cared for here, and I'm so grateful to be a part of this community.

The staff at Lutheran Retirement Home is great, but I wish there were more opportunities for social interaction outside of the planned activities. The food is good, but it would be nice to have a wider variety of options. Overall, it's a decent place to live, but it could be better.
