Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Good Samaritan Society - Red Oak for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are always activities going on for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their loved ones.

I've been impressed with the level of care provided at Good Samaritan Society - Red Oak. The staff is very compassionate and always willing to help. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of opportunities for residents to socialize and stay active. While the food could use some improvement, overall, I would say this is a good place for seniors to live.
