Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Mercer Manor Rehabilitation for a few months now, and we are very happy with the care she has received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. My mother has made great progress in her rehabilitation, and we are grateful for the support she has received.

I highly recommend Mercer Manor Rehabilitation. My father was there for a short-term stay after surgery, and he received excellent care. The therapists were very knowledgeable and helpful, and the staff was always there to answer our questions and address our concerns. We were very impressed with the overall level of care and compassion shown to my father.

The facility itself is nice, and the staff is generally friendly. However, I have had some concerns about the communication between the staff and myself. It would be helpful if there was more consistent and clear communication about my loved one's progress and care plan.
