Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Pine Crest for a few months now and we're so happy with the care she's received. The staff is very attentive and caring, and they've gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and at home. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

I was hesitant to put my dad in a nursing home, but Pine Crest has been a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and professional, and they truly care about the residents. My dad is happy and engaged, and I feel confident that he's receiving the best possible care.
