Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Tri-State Village for a few years now, and we're so grateful for the care she receives. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities and programs to keep residents engaged.

We were initially hesitant to move our father into a nursing home, but Tri-State Village has been a lifesaver. The staff is so compassionate and understanding, and they really made the transition smooth for him. He's made so many new friends and enjoys the daily activities. We highly recommend this facility.

While the staff at Tri-State Village is generally friendly and helpful, we've had some issues with communication. It's been difficult to get updates on our loved one's condition, and we wish there was more transparency. However, the facility itself is nice, and they do provide a decent level of care.
