Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been a resident at Mount Sterling for a few months now, and we've been incredibly happy with the care she's received. The staff are so kind and patient, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and well taken care of. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the activities offered are a great way for residents to stay engaged.

The physical therapy at Mount Sterling was good, and the therapists were helpful. However, I did have some concerns about the communication between the nurses and the doctors. I often felt like I had to be the one to advocate for my needs.

I can't recommend Mount Sterling enough! My father received excellent care here during his recovery from surgery. The staff was wonderful, and the food was surprisingly good. He was able to regain his strength and mobility thanks to their excellent therapy programs.
