Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Mt. Zion are truly wonderful. They are kind, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my loved one's comfort and well-being. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! I highly recommend Mt. Zion for anyone needing skilled nursing care.

My grandmother has been living at Mt. Zion for several months now, and we are so pleased with the care she receives. The therapists are great at working with her to improve her mobility and strength, and the nurses are always attentive to her needs. The activities program keeps her engaged and entertained, and she truly enjoys the social aspect of living at Mt. Zion.

While the staff at Mt. Zion are friendly and competent, there have been some instances where communication could have been better. I have found that it can be challenging to reach someone on the phone sometimes. However, overall, the care is good, and I appreciate the efforts made to ensure my mother's well-being.
