Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Kingston Care Center for a few months now and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well taken care of. We especially appreciate the activities program, which keeps her engaged and active.

The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the staff seems friendly enough. However, I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care provided, and I've had to advocate for my mother on a couple of occasions. Overall, it's a decent option, but I wish the care was more consistent.
