Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was very impressed with the care my grandmother received at Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and they always went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well-cared for. I highly recommend this facility.

The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was generally friendly. However, there were some communication issues at times, and I felt like my grandfather's needs weren't always fully met.

I couldn't have asked for a better place for my mother's rehabilitation. The therapists were amazing, and the facility provided a wide range of activities to keep her engaged and motivated. I'm so grateful for the care they provided.
