Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was very impressed with the care my grandmother received at The Waters of Fort Wayne. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and they always went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend The Waters of Fort Wayne to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility for their loved ones.

My mother has been living at The Waters of Fort Wayne for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving. The staff is so friendly and responsive, and they truly care about the residents. The activities are engaging and keep her active, and she's made many new friends. We feel so lucky to have found The Waters of Fort Wayne!

The Waters of Fort Wayne is a decent facility, but it's not perfect. The staff is generally good, but there have been a few instances where I felt like my father wasn't receiving the level of care he needed. The food could also be better, but overall it's a decent option in the area.
