Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Altenheim for a few years now, and we're so happy with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable. The community is also very active, with plenty of social events and activities to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend Altenheim to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved ones.

Altenheim has been a godsend for my parents. They were hesitant to move into a senior living community, but the staff at Altenheim made them feel right at home. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, and the meals are delicious. My parents are always participating in the activities and events, and they've made so many new friends. I couldn't be happier with their decision to move to Altenheim.

The care at Altenheim is decent, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention residents receive. Sometimes the staff is incredibly helpful, but other times it can be difficult to get their attention. The community is also a bit pricey, which is something to consider.
