Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at The Waters of Middletown for several months now, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure my mom is comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I highly recommend The Waters of Middletown to anyone looking for a quality skilled nursing facility.

The Waters of Middletown has been a good experience for my father. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well-kept. However, I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care at times. Some nurses are more attentive than others, and I've had a few instances where my father's needs weren't met as quickly as I would have liked. Overall, it's a decent facility, but there's room for improvement.
