Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Waters of Wabash for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they really seem to care about the residents. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are always activities going on to keep the residents engaged. I would definitely recommend Waters of Wabash to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

The staff at Waters of Wabash are generally nice, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of care. Sometimes my mom gets the attention she needs, and other times she feels neglected. The food is decent, but I wish there were more options for residents with dietary restrictions. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I've seen better.
