Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at University Place for over a year now, and we are so grateful for the care she has received. The staff is truly dedicated and compassionate, and they always go above and beyond to ensure her well-being. The facility itself is clean and comfortable, and the activities offered keep her engaged and active. I highly recommend University Place to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

I was initially hesitant about moving my mom into assisted living, but University Place has been a truly wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly patient and understanding, and they have helped my mom adjust to her new surroundings with ease. The food is excellent, and there are always fun activities going on, so she never gets bored. I feel confident that she is in good hands at University Place.

Overall, University Place is a decent facility, but there have been a few instances where the communication could have been better. Sometimes, it's hard to get in touch with the staff, and I wish there were more opportunities for family involvement in the activities. However, the residents seem happy and well-cared for, and the facility is kept clean and tidy.
