Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Medicalodges were so kind and caring. They really helped my mom get back on her feet after her surgery. The facility was clean and comfortable, and the food was surprisingly good!

I was impressed with the level of care my father received at Medicalodges. The therapists were excellent, and the nurses were always available to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this facility.

While the care was good, I found the communication with the staff to be inconsistent. Sometimes I would get updates, and sometimes I wouldn't. Overall, I felt my father was in good hands, but there was room for improvement.
