Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Kearny County Hospital LTCU for a few months now, and I've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and I feel confident that she's in good hands.

The staff at Kearny County Hospital LTCU is generally helpful, but there have been some communication issues at times. I've also noticed that some of the residents seem to be a bit bored, and there aren't as many activities as I'd like to see. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I wish there were more opportunities for socialization and engagement.
