Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at The Good Samaritan Society for a few years now, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the community atmosphere is truly heartwarming. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a compassionate and supportive environment for their loved one.

The Good Samaritan Society provides excellent care and a welcoming environment for residents. The activities and programs are diverse and engaging, keeping residents active and stimulated. The staff is dedicated and professional, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of their residents. However, I have found that some of the dining options could be more varied.

My grandmother has been living at the Good Samaritan Society for a few months now, and while the staff is friendly and the facility is clean, I've found the level of personal attention to be lacking. It's clear that they are overwhelmed with residents, which makes it hard for them to provide individualized care. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I would have liked to see more individualized care for residents.
