Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Riverbend for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is attentive and caring, and they really go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and safe. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there are always activities happening to keep the residents engaged. I would definitely recommend Riverbend to anyone looking for a quality nursing home.

Riverbend is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The food isn't great, and sometimes it's hard to get in touch with the staff. However, the nurses are generally kind and compassionate, and the therapy program is helpful. It's not the best nursing home I've seen, but it's not the worst either.
