Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Vermilion is so caring and attentive. My grandmother has been living here for a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the activities keep her engaged and active.

Vermilion Health Care Center is a true gem! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the residents feel loved and cared for. My mother has been here for a few months, and she's thriving. She enjoys the activities, the food, and the company of the other residents.

I was initially impressed with Vermilion, but I have to say that some of the staff seem overworked and stressed. The food could also be better. Overall, it's a decent facility, but it could be better.
