Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was so impressed with the care and compassion my grandmother received at Alpine. The staff was always attentive and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the activities offered kept her engaged and entertained. I highly recommend Alpine to anyone looking for quality skilled nursing care.

My father has been at Alpine for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care he is receiving. The nurses and therapists are amazing and always go the extra mile to help him. He has made significant progress in his recovery thanks to their expertise and dedication.

The staff at Alpine are generally friendly and helpful, but there have been some instances of inconsistent care. My mother's room could have been cleaned more frequently, and I found the communication between staff and family members to be lacking at times. Overall, I would say the care is decent, but there's room for improvement.
