Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing for the past year, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities and events for residents to participate in.

Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing is a decent facility, but it could be better. The staff is friendly and helpful, but sometimes communication can be a bit slow. The food is okay, but not always the most appealing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but some of the furniture is outdated.

My father was recovering from a stroke at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing, and the staff did an amazing job helping him regain his strength and mobility. The therapists were highly skilled and patient, and they worked closely with my father to develop a personalized plan to help him reach his goals. We are so grateful for the care he received at this facility.
