Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Aspen Hill for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is attentive and caring, and they keep us informed about her progress. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained.

Aspen Hill is a decent facility, but there have been some issues with communication at times. Overall, though, the staff is friendly and helpful, and my father seems to be doing well.

I can't say enough good things about Aspen Hill. The staff goes above and beyond to care for their residents, and they truly make you feel like family. My mother has been there for over a year, and she's thriving.
