Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at River Terrace for a few months now and we are so happy with her care. The staff is always kind and attentive, and they really seem to care about her well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend River Terrace to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

River Terrace has been a lifesaver for our family. My father needed rehabilitation after a stroke, and the staff at River Terrace went above and beyond to help him regain his strength and independence. The therapists were incredibly skilled and compassionate, and the nurses were always available to answer any questions we had. We are so grateful for the care my father received at River Terrace.

River Terrace is a decent facility, but it could be better. The staff is generally friendly, but there are some inconsistencies in the level of care. Some residents seem to get more attention than others. The food is also not great, but that's a common complaint in most nursing homes. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a basic level of care.
