Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Care One at Millbury for the past year, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

The staff at Care One at Millbury is friendly and helpful, but I've found that the communication between the staff and families could be better. Sometimes it's difficult to get in touch with a nurse or doctor when you have questions or concerns. Overall, I think the facility is decent, but there's room for improvement.
