Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Cardigan for a few months now, and I'm really happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is very kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I especially appreciate the activities they offer, which help keep my grandmother engaged and social.

The staff at Cardigan seems caring, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention my father gets. Sometimes he gets the help he needs promptly, while other times it takes a while to get someone's attention. Overall, it's been a decent experience, but there's room for improvement.

I was so impressed with Cardigan! The facility is beautiful, and the staff is absolutely fantastic. They treated my mother with so much respect and kindness. She has made great progress in her rehabilitation thanks to their excellent care. I would highly recommend Cardigan to anyone looking for a nursing home.
