Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been a resident at Bear Hill for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they keep her active and engaged. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. We'd recommend Bear Hill to anyone looking for a comfortable and caring environment for their loved one.

The staff at Bear Hill is definitely dedicated, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care. Sometimes my dad receives excellent attention, while other times he seems overlooked. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I wish there was more consistency in the care.
