Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really make an effort to know each resident. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and my mother seems happy and comfortable there. I was hesitant about placing my father in a nursing home, but Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly compassionate and skilled, and they've helped my father regain his strength and mobility after his surgery. The activities and social programs keep him engaged and active, and he enjoys the friendly environment. I'm so grateful for the care he's receiving here.

Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a decent facility, but there have been some issues with communication. It can be difficult to get in touch with staff members at times, and I've had some concerns about the quality of care. However, the facility is clean and the residents seem well-cared for. Overall, it's a mixed bag.
