Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been at Tuckerman for a few months now, and we've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff is so kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and comfortable. They have a lot of activities for the residents, and they really seem to care about their well-being.

I was hesitant about putting my dad in a nursing home, but Tuckerman has exceeded my expectations. They've made the transition so much easier, and they've really helped him regain his strength and independence. The therapists are amazing, and the food is actually quite good!

Tuckerman is a decent facility, but it's not perfect. The staff is friendly, but sometimes communication can be a bit challenging. The rooms are comfortable, but the common areas could use a little updating. Overall, it's a good option for rehabilitation and long-term care, but it's not the most luxurious.
