Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and we're really happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always keep us informed about her progress. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

I was worried about putting my father in a nursing home, but Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has exceeded our expectations. The staff is incredibly caring and compassionate, and they've gone above and beyond to make my father feel comfortable and at home. He's been making great progress in his rehabilitation, and I'm so grateful for the support we've received.

The staff at Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is friendly, but I wish there were more activities for residents. My mother often gets bored, and she could benefit from more stimulation. Otherwise, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is decent.
