Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at BorderView for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

BorderView has been a lifesaver for our family. My father needed rehabilitation after a hip surgery, and the therapists here were phenomenal. He made great progress, and the staff was so supportive and encouraging. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The care at BorderView is good, but the food could be better. There's not a lot of variety, and sometimes it's not very appetizing. However, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the activities are enjoyable.
