Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been a resident at Mission Point for several months, and I have been impressed with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to ensure her comfort and well-being. I am especially grateful for the physical therapy she has received, which has helped her regain much of her mobility. The facility is well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend Mission Point to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

The staff at Mission Point is generally friendly and helpful. However, there have been some instances of communication breakdowns that have caused me some concern. Overall, I feel that my mother is receiving good care, but there is room for improvement in terms of communication and responsiveness to families. I do appreciate the activities they offer to keep residents engaged.

I was so relieved to find a place like Mission Point for my father after he had a stroke. They have an excellent rehabilitation program that has made a world of difference in his recovery. The therapists are highly skilled and dedicated to helping him regain his strength and function. The staff is also very caring and supportive, and they make a point of getting to know each resident personally. I am so grateful for the care they have provided.
