Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Hillcrest for a few months now and I'm very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure my mom is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities are engaging and enjoyable.

Hillcrest has been a godsend for our family. My father was in need of rehabilitation after his surgery, and the staff at Hillcrest has been incredible. They are so patient and understanding, and they've helped my father regain his strength and mobility. We are so grateful for their care and support.

The staff at Hillcrest is very friendly and helpful, but the food could be better. The meals are often bland and repetitive. Otherwise, I would recommend this facility to others.
